Does the word, “video”, scare you when it comes up in marketing discussions? Are you afraid to get behind the camera and accidentally mess up the lines or start sweating like you just hopped out of the pool? Those are all normal feelings to have when you’re not a professional actor but behind those feelings is an opportunity to grow your business by using video as part of your marketing strategy.
What is great about today is that production of videos can be done at a very minimal cost which leaves more money for other forms of advertising. Another great piece about using video as a marketing tool is that your worries of having to get in front of the camera can go away because you can make a video about anything as long as it has to do with your brand. Now obviously, if you’re comfortable getting in front of a camera, it’s highly recommended to do so because your customers like to know who they are doing business with. It builds a personal connection with the customer. Check out these 2015 video statistics courtesy of HubSpot:
As you can see, video is already in full motion in terms of marketing and it’s only going to grow from here. Your brand and business can see amazing results when you mix some creativity with videography.
