Take a look around for a quick second. Out of all your surroundings, what caught your eye? There is always ONE thing that will catch your eye from out of all your other surroundings. Some may be more interesting than others but at the end of the day it caught your eye for a reason. You can take this same approach to your social media business strategy.
If you own a smart phone, you have a world of opportunities in the palm of your hand when it comes to marketing. The camera feature may be the most beneficial. An effective content strategy when it comes to social media is including visuals when possible. It comes down to being creative and having fun. Take the obvious photos such as events, product photos and special occasions but take some “behind the scenes” photos as well such as the production of your product. Just make sure that these photos come out crisp and look inviting. For example, the profession I work in luckily allows me to pretty much work anywhere. I chose to work outside on this beautiful day and I took a photo to include with this article and my social media posts for today. You can consider that a “behind the scenes” type of photo. I am not promoting any of my services, it’s just me working on my services and I decided to take a photo of where I was doing my work from that day.
The next time you find yourself struggling to create content, take a step back and look around. You may just find something that you never knew you could connect to your business before.
